Jefferson is considered by many to be our greatest founding father.
The author of the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson was the 3rd
president of the United States and the first 'anti-federalist' in
office. Jefferson's accomplishments while in office include the Louisiana
Purchase, the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the decentralization
of the government.
