To learn more about this service, select a topic area below. Primary Source Documents: American President: An Online Reference Resource - a comprehensive collection of material about the U.S. Presidents and the history of the presidency. This web site features essays about each President and their lives before, during, and after their presidential terms. It additionally provides information about the First Lady and cabinet officials of each administration. So much information. You could spend months on this site. State of the Union Addresses - provides access to the corpus of all the State of the Union addresses from 1790 to 2006. SOTU allows you to explore how specific words gain and lose prominence over time, and to link to information on the historical context for their use. SOTU focuses on the relationship between individual addresses as compared to the entire collection of addresses, highlighting what is different about the selected document. Amazing in my opinion!!! Explanations of the historical context and images of each cartoon, campaign overviews, biographics sketches and a review of the era's major issues. Games U.S. Presidents Puzzle - Test your knowledge of the US Presidents by arranging them into the proper order with this interactive puzzle.
